SIMPLE IMPRESSIONISTIC LANDSCAPE WATERCOLOURS – BEGINNERS
Painting can be very expressive without having to be detailed. The impression of a scene can sometimes be enough to make a delightful picture without illustrating any details. On this course, your tutor Jason, will show you how to explore watercolour to make lively, subtle impressionistic paintings with the minimum of fuss. Explore how the movement of wet paint on paper can help create the look of mist, mountains, trees or hedgerows.
This four week course at The Hearth, Horsley is the perfect way to take your watercolour painting to the next level. Your tutor is well known for creating a happy, relaxed learning experience.
Jason Skill, your tutor, has taught watercolour painting to adults for more that thirty years. He has taught art for Newcastle University, The Laing Art Gallery, Newcastle City Learning and Newcastle and Gatehead Colleges.
