The previous Friday course looked at the methods of John Singer Sargent, studying his use of combining both watercolour and gouache to create dazzling work. This course continues to look at how to work to combine these mediums to make strong stunning watercolours but this time bringing out your creative self, rather than relying on the stylistic approach of Sargent.

Much of the artwork created by advertising agencies and illustrators before Photoshop was made using a combination of these two mediums, so there is a wealth of images to look at to inspire you to make creative interesting paintings

Or you might simply want to create figurative artwork that makes the best use of these two mediums. Whatever your artistic interests Jason will be on hand to help you make the the right choices and enable you to create work you are proud of.
